Free time in the city
Larnaca is a tourist city – similarly to most of the agglomerations on the island. This coastal city has the access to the sea by means of the harbour for yachts and sailing boats, as well as the beach. The beach, similarly to most places on the south coast, is not admired for its bright sand, it is only a narrow strip of land used for relaxation and holiday activities. Along the beach there is a boardwalk which is full of people, especially during the night when the restaurants and pubs open for the tourists and the local people who want to have fun and eat something delicious. Nevertheless, Larnaca, except for relaxation on the beach and the night life, is full of monuments and museums worth seeing and visiting.
