Museum has a rich collection of exhibits found near Larnaca, which are organised in several rooms, in the building specially constructed for the purpose of this museum.
From the Áyios Lázaros church starts the Turkish district, reaching to the fishing harbour. The district is dominated by the old Turkish houses which make people think about their high financial status.
Among many monuments recommeneded by the tour guides, there is the St. Lasarus’s Church (Áyios Lázaros), situated between the old Turkish district and the market district.
Larnaca is not the most beautiful city in Cyprus. The proof of its poor state is its old town which does not, even a little, resemble the old town of Nicosia or Limassol.
