Pierides’s Museum

Museum in Larnaca is really worth seeing. It is located in the house of Dhimitrios Pierides who devoted part of his fortune to saving of the archeological treasures which were being gradually stolen by not only the thieves but also civil servants. The building, renovated several years earlier, is situated in 4 Zínonos Kitiéos street. The exhibition is organised in four different rooms and contain several valuable exhibits which may surprise and delight. The collection includes objects of worship, votive offerings, objects of everyday use and decorative ones. The museum is open from Monday till Saturday with a break for siesta
