Archeological museum
Museum has a rich collection of exhibits found near Larnaca, which are organised in several rooms, in the building specially constructed for the purpose of this museum. The building is situated 10 minuts away from Pierides’s museum.The archeological collection includes the copy of Artemida’s statue as well as the copy of the grave stele. The most important and valuable exhibit is the reconstruction of the neolithic tomb found in Khirokhitia. We can find here also a collection of ceramic pots made on the island, as well as the imported objects from the early bronze age. Museum is open for visitors from Monday till Friday from 7.30 untill 14.30.
